Welcome

Welcome, glad to see you, come in and enjoy!

I love to go RVing, and I love doing special things in and to my little home away from home.  I hope to give you a tip or two along the way, enjoy your company, and tell you about some of our travels.

The first thing I should tell you is my DH is new to the retirement community, he retired this year and we immediately got in our motor home and traveled down to Key West.

What a beautiful place!  We were delighted to stay on the road for over a month and a half without the usual rush and push to return home or to a job.  DH and I have decided we are not suited to the full time rv living and for now are happy to take trips out and come back home to a stick and brick house.

Before getting to Key West we had to cross 42 islands and take a bridge or two, there were 7 miles of this bridge and the old one runs side by side.  Naturally I had to take it's picture :)

We did all the usual touristy things once we reached our destination in Key West and had a most amazing time, we visited The Little White House, took a sunset cruise on a glass bottom boat, and visited Ernest Hemingway's home.

We were amazed and amused by the roaming bands of roosters and chickens.  How fun to stop and while filling our gas tank side step the rooster who seemed to own the place.

Among all my favorite things about Florida, the sunsets are spectacular I will end this post with one of them.

Enjoy, and may you have a wonderful day!
